"Kirasa" armored vests provide all-round protection of person's torso from damage with fragments, cold arms and pistol projectiles; vests reinforced in breast and back areas with reinforcing plates protect vital organs from damage with projectiles of submachine-guns and rifles of various systems. Armored vests are produced in compliance with either Russian GOST P 50744-95 or American standard NIJ 0101.03; depending on requirements of each specific customer, protective structure of any armored vest may be redesigned in accordance with requirements of other existing standards for armored uniform. Utilization of ballistic fabrics with hydrophobic impregnation provides proper protection during use of armored vest in any climate (including conditions of 100 % humidity, after long-term stay in the rain or immersion in water). For the majority of models, the level of armored vest protection may be increased using reinforcing plates (made of steel or ceramic). Special structure of damper provides ventilation of body under the vest, which is especially important in hot climate. Trauma plates reduce contusion impact to the minimum and protect wearer from blunt injuries. Shape of protective elements, adjustable fasteners and other design peculiarities allow easy fitting of the vest to the wearer's figure. For transportation purposes, the armored vests are complete with carrier bags. On customer's request, the area of soft armor may be increased or reduced; the customer determines fabric and color of the cover.
